# Clone Voice

> Create a custom AI voice by uploading or recording a sample, and assign it to your AI Call Agents.

## Overview

Use the **Voice Cloning** feature to create a personalized voice for your AI Call Agents.\
You can upload an audio file or record your own voice.\
Once cloned, voices can be assigned to any agent.

## Steps

### 1. Create a New Voice Clone

1. Go to **Voice Cloning** in your dashboard.
2. Fill in the following fields:
   * **Voice Name** — Internal name to identify the voice.
   * **Description** — Optional, for notes or context.
   * **Language** — Select the spoken language of the sample.
   * **Gender** — Male or Female.
3. Provide a voice sample:
   * **Upload Audio** — Select a file from your device (max 4 MB).
   * **Record Voice** — Record directly in the browser.
4. **Sample Requirements:**
   * At least 30 seconds of clear audio.
   * No background noise or music.
5. Click **Clone Voice** to process.

### 2. Manage Cloned Voices

* Your cloned voices appear in **Your Cloned Voices** list.
* Each entry shows:
  * Language
  * Gender
  * Sample duration
  * Description (if added)
* Use **Play Sample** to preview.
* Click the trash icon to delete.

### 3. Assign a Cloned Voice to an Agent

1. Edit your agent.
2. Go to **Step 2 — Voice & Language**.
3. Under **Cloned Voices**, select the desired voice.
4. Adjust **Audio Speed** if needed.
5. Save changes.

## Tips & Notes

* Keep one backup clone in case you need to switch voices quickly.
* Record in a quiet environment for the best quality.
* Use descriptive names (e.g., “Rafa\_ES\_Male”) if you manage multiple voices.

## Troubleshooting

**Symptom:** Clone Voice button is disabled.\
**Probable Cause:** No sample uploaded/recorded or required fields missing.\
**Solution:** Ensure all fields are filled and a valid audio sample is provided.

**Symptom:** Cloned voice sounds distorted.\
**Probable Cause:** Poor recording quality or too much background noise.\
**Solution:** Re-record in a quieter space with a better microphone.
